8 Months Old (March 19, 2026)

Surprisingly in the last month she has continued to grow. She is now much taller than Phoenix. To try to get an easier measure we tried the top of their heads. He is 21 inches and is 22.5 inches and only weighs a pound less than him at 28 pounds.

This stage of her coat coming in causes cowlicks everywhere but in the photos it is easiest to see them on her back

She had her first full groom this month. They said she did well but was not a huge fan of the blower by her face & ears. Might be due to the the air getting directly into her ears.

With our new fence she has access to a different area and has started to present us with little rocks. Wer’e just happy that she doesn’t eat them or find creatures to bring instead. She likes little smaller sticks and pinecones to pull apart but isn’t interested in larger sticks.

Overall still a very happy girl with lots of energy but she does have the sheltie awareness as she settled and would curl up with me when I sick recently.

She now is able to be free-roaming in the house when we are gone for a few hours and at night now without getting into any trouble.
