19 Weeks Old (Nov 30-Dec 6, 2025)

This week had a few new firsts.

Now with her immunity from her vaccines at full strength, she can go to places where there is high levels of dog visits. We were able to take her to our local park (oyster river park) for the first time where we walked down to the pebble beach. She enjoyed meeting the people and other dogs on the trail along the way. She loved the beach and was interested in everything. She is quite agile and did well jumping and running over the driftwood.

She had her first grooming experience. To get her accustomed to grooming this appointment focuses on making it a positive experience and they do the basics including giving a bath, light combing, blow drying and trimming her nails. She will continue to have these appointments about every 3 months to coincide with Phoenix’ appointments. They said she was an angel and did really well. One of the groomers brings their dog to work so she got to have a playtime as a bonus.

This week she has conquered the inside stairs and is now going both up and down all the stairs in the house. She is delighted to be able to follow everyone as she pleases.
